BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - Two people are dead after a minivan crashed into a trash truck in Broken Arrow Monday evening.
Police say 26-year-old Stephanie Ann Reyes was driving the minivan southbound on 145th East Avenue between 71st and 81st when she crossed into the northbound lane and struck a trash truck head-on.
Reyes and a male child were pronounced dead on the scene, police said.
The driver of the trash truck, 26 year old Dornell Scarborough of Broken Arrow, was not hurt in the accident.
The two passengers in the trash truck, Carl Taylor and Joel Taylor of Tulsa, were treated and released for minor injuries.
Two adult males also received minor injuries.
