An early morning duplex fire in the 1400 block of West Admiral claimed the life of a 15-month-old baby. Four adults escaped from the unit uninjured Nov. 10, 2011.

TULSA - Fire crews responded to a northwest Tulsa duplex fire early Thursday morning.
Firefighters were called to the blaze near 1400 W. Admiral around 6 a.m.
Officials tell 2NEWS a 15-month-old baby boy perished inside the home.
The baby was asleep in a back bedroom where crews say the heaviest flames were present.
Firefighters arrived shortly after receiving the call, but they say flames had spread so fast it was already too late to rescue the baby.
Four other people safely escaped the flames.
Red Cross volunteers responded to assist with food, clothing and shelter.
A cause for the fire is under investigation.
Meanwhile, Tulsa police arrived at the home around 11:30 a.m. to begin the an investigation.
