OKLAHOMA CITY - No new flu-related deaths occurred this week in the state of Oklahoma, according to state health officials.
New data released Thursday from the Oklahoma State Department of Health shows the death toll this season from the flu remains at 30. That number has steadily grown since Sept. 30, 2012.
Only 15 new flu-related cases were reported as hospitalizations across the state.
A total of 1,015 people have been hospitalized with the flu since the season began.
Deaths have occurred in the following counties:
The majority of this season's flu-related deaths were people 65 years or older.
Updated flu statistics are released every Thursday by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
