TULSA - Former Mounds Police Chief Chad Long was arrested Friday night for public intoxication at Oktoberfest, police records show.
Police say Long, 36, jumped over a three-foot wall to reach a beer tap inside an Oktoberfest tent after beer was no longer being served.
An off-duty mounds officer grabbed long and helped with the arrest, police said.
Police say long was not cooperative.
Long was released from jail on $300 bond just over an hour after he was booked.
Long was charged with embezzlement in July after investigators say he took several thousand dollars from a woman’s purse before turning it into police.
