MCALESTER, Okla. - McAlester officials say a man killed in an accident Saturday evening was a former firefighter for the city.
Highway patrol troopers responded to a wreck about a half mile from Krebs, Okla., in Pittsburg County around 3:30 Saturday.
Troopers say Roger Duvall, 50, was eastbound on State Highway 31 when the pickup he was driving left the road, struck a barbed wire fence, continued on and struck a chain link fence and then collided with a house.
Duvall was transported to a McAlester hospital where he was pronounced dead.
He was suffering from a medical condition during the accident, according to the highway patrol report.
