TULSA - Loved ones gathered Sunday afternoon to remember Tulsa’s fallen firefighters.
The Tulsa Fire Department and IAFF Local 176 hosted the 16th Annual Tulsa Fallen Firefighter Memorial Service at Veterans Park.
Firefighters honored 11 retirees who have passed away during the past year.
“We really do feel like they're still in the fire truck in spirit," Tulsa Fire Chief Ray Driskell said.
The service ended with the traditional fire service "Ringing of the Bell" ceremony, signifying the firefighter’s last alarm.
