TULSA - A survey from the National Retail Federation shows more people rushed into stores and braved big crowds over the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
Six million more shoppers were out on Thanksgiving this year for a total of 35 million shoppers.
The numbers for Black Friday were up to 89 million for this year -- 3 million more than 2011.
Shoppers spent an average of $423 per person over the weekend. Online sales were also up Thursday and Friday.
