Bill O'Reilly, Jon Stewart to 'rumble' in debate in October

" Bill O'Reilly. Jon Stewart. 2 podiums. 1 Air-Conditioned Auditorium."

That's the basis of the new debate taking place between the adversarial political pundits taking place next month.

The livestream event is set for 8 p.m. Oct. 6. on therumble2012.com . A $4.95 price tag is attached to the debate, of which "one-half of the net profits from The Rumble 2012 will be donated by Jon and Bill to a number of charitable causes," according to the site.

The two men hold a loyal, distinct following and are expected to host a full house in Washington and countless eyes online.

"I'm excited to debate Mr. O'Reilly," said Stewart. "I believe this will be a very enjoyable night for fans of our programs, political junkies, partisans and people who just enjoy yelling."

Even with O'Reilly downplaying the night.

"I had no idea my agent signed me up for this," O'Reilly said. "How can I get out of it?"

And while this may be the pair's first rumble of 2012, O'Reilly and Stewart are not new to each other.
