A Texas man out on bond for a conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine charge filed last year is behind bars again — though this time for burglary.
27-year-old Matthew Lynn Miner of Austin on Wednesday allegedly broke down a door to a Bartlesville garage dwelling when its resident denied his request to buy him pseudoephedrine — a key ingredient to making methamphetamine.
He was one of four arrested during a November Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics sting operation at the Bartlesville Walmart store targeting those who believed to be participating in the manufacture of methamphetamine.
Miner is now charged with burglary in the first degree for Wednesday's incident.
According to the affidavit, police at around 9 p.m. Wednesday were dispatched to the 1400 block of S.W. Jennings for a reported burglary.
When police arrived, police spoke with the alleged victim who said Miner had kicked in the door and entered the garage where he was living.
According to police, the alleged victim had an agreement with the home's resident to pay the electric bill in exchange for lodging in the garage.
The alleged victim told police Miner kicked the door down after he told Miner he would not buy pseudoephedrine for him.
Police looking at the door saw it was broken off the wall and it's hinges bent or turn off the wall.
Miner reportedly told police he "pushed" the door open thinking it was being held closed due to items stacked against it.
During Miner's hearing in Washington County District Court on Thursday, the judge set his bond to $30,000.
