Jodi Arias is expected in court in Phoenix today.
The hearing will decide the next phase of her trial.
In May, a jury convicted Arias of first-degree murder in the 2008 killing of her boyfriend.
They couldn't agree on her fate either for life in prison or the death penalty.
Prosecutors have to decide if they want a new penalty phase with a new jury or give her life in prison.
