Today's development is the first possible break in this murder investigation.
2news reporter Casey Roebuck continues our team coverage tonight....with a look at the history of the case.
Casey?
Neal Sweeney was a prominent businessesman. the last person anyone would expect to be gunned down in his office in the middle of the work day.
Neal Sweeney seems the most unlikely victim of a murder.
He was a loyal husband and father. He was active in his church.
From the beginning, police didn't know why a gunman marched into his office at "Retail Fuels Marketing" on September 4th of last year... and shot him in the head.
He died the following day.
"We knew from the start this was going to be a hard case to investigate."

The only information police had was that they were looking for a black man who was driving a white box van. Police looked at the possibility that the murder could be a contract killing.
But as the months drag on, they continue to look at all possible motives that may lead them Sweeney's killer.
"typically we know that our suspects are living in our backyard, and this one we don't. that's to say he may not. He may very well be living in tulsa, we don't know that."
Months after the shooting, Neal Sweeney's family is also still looking for answers.
His daughter talked with 2NEWS in the weeks following the murder.
Sarah Sweeney, "My dad was larger than life and my hero in every way. How in the world could this happen to someone who was a big part of my life."
His wife Jan shared her thoughts on the unsolved case just weeks ago.
Jan Sweeney, "There is someone very evil out there that murdered my husband and my daughters' father."
Even with today's development... police still need someone to come forward with the shooter's identity.
A 25-thousand dollar reward is being offered in this case.
