(WXYZ) - Ford is recalling more than 20,000 vehicles from 2012 and 2013.
The recall affects the Ford Focus Electric from those years and the 2013 C-Max Hybrid. Ford says the cars do no comply with US regulations due to an open-door chime that isn't sounding when the key is inside the car.
The recalled vehicles were sold in the US and Canada.
So far, Ford says no injuries have been reported. Starting next week, Ford dealers will modify the software the make the chimes sound properly.
