Thousands of plastic toy sets sold online and at specialty stores are being recalled due to a choking hazard.
Infinitoy has recalled more than 7,000 Softimals Super Safari Sets and Deluxe Circus Train Sets with the model numbers 30025 and 30040.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the plastic hats found on the play set figures pose a choking and aspiration hazard. No injuries have been reported but CPSC is aware of one toddler choking on a hat, though it was removed from the child's mouth.
The toy sets were sold between September 2012 and September 2013 on Amazon.com, Mindware.com and at specialty toy stores nationwide.
Consumers should remove the plastic hats from Safari Sam and Mighty Mike and contact Infinitoy Inc. to exchange the hat for a free replacement figure.
