About 1,800 Thanksgiving craft items have been recalled a day before the holiday.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the voluntary recall Wednesday in coordination with Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft, which exclusively sold the product from August to October.

According to the commission, foam pumpkin turkey craft kits can pose a danger to children. If swallowed, magnets holding the pieces in place could pose "serious lifelong health effects."

Consumers are asked to immediately stop using the kit and instead should return it for a full refund. For more on the recall, contact Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores toll free at (888) 739-4120 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or online at joann.com.
