Quick question: what's the coolest, hippest chain of stores in the U.S. these days? The Apple Store, of course.

But believe it or not, there are some things shoppers don't like about the store.

Next to the grocery store on a Saturday, the Apple store is the busiest store in the country these days.

You'll often find several hundred people trying out the iPads, iPhones and MacBooks, while dozens wait in line at the Genius Bar. At New York City's store at 5th Avenue and 57th Street, they even need traffic control at the door.

But SmartMoney magazine says despite the crowds, many customers have common complaints.

The top Apple store gripes, according to SmartMoney:

-Some employees can come off as "smug" or "intimidating"  for non tech savvy people.

-Inconvenient store locations, such as in the middle of a mall.

-Long waits at the Genius Bar once you are in there.

SmartMoney says Apple has just appointed a new retail store chief, who will be tasked with making the stores a bit less intimidating and more customer friendly.

The biggest problem: the store’s popularity, which is not Apple’s fault and is not going to change.

And the report doesn’t touch on why the store is so popular:  not only does it feature only Apple products, but everything is “hands on,” like a giant toy store for adults.

As always don't waste your money.
