We search and search for just the right gift for everyone on our list, but wrapping some of those items can take the joy out of the holiday season. That's why we went to the experts to learn the gift wrapping tricks of the trade.

Professional gift wrappers say good paper is a must. You'll also need the basics like scissors and tape, but also grab some string.

Use the string to measure the size of the box. That will tell you how much paper you need.

When you're wrapping, put the box at the edge of the seam. Don't put it in the middle of the paper.

It's not just paper that you can wrap. Have you ever thought about wrapping a gift bag?

Click the media player to watch a video showing you how to wrap a traditional gift box, a bottle of soap or lotion, a gift bag, a unique way to wrap a candle and how to fluff that tissue paper to make it look amazing in a gift bag.
