Deborah Underwood is the winner of the Giving Spirit Award for the month of November. Below is the nomination submission:
Deborah Underwood has given over 15 years of amazing service to Iron Gate at Trinity as the volunteer coordinator.
She gives selflessly to our organization, staff, and most importantly our guests. She is the smiling face and gracious spirit that our guests and volunteers look forward to everyday.
It is not uncommon for her to stop in on the weekends or step in to help if the serving line or grocery distribution volunteers are short handed.
She is quick with a smile, a kind word, and a great sense of humor. We are honored to have her on our staff and in our lives. Our guests feel the same.
Each month, someone in the Tulsa viewing area will be awarded for his or her volunteer spirit - someone who has made a difference in our community.
