Cathy Davis is the winner of the Giving Spirit Award for the month of July.  Below is the nomination submission for Cathy:

She works behind the scenes scheduling therapy dog visits to 17 facilities in the Tulsa area; Laureate, Shadow Mountain, Greentree Retirement Center, Oasis Day Care. to name a few.

She is the coordinator and co-founder of Karing K9s Therapy Dogs Inc. , a job she has held for nearly 20 years.

The joy the visits bring children, the happiness of the elderly as they stroke a dog speaks of the importance of the work she does. She has the giving spirit this award imbodies.

Each month, someone in the Tulsa viewing area will be awarded for his or her volunteer spirit - someone who has made a difference in our community.
