OWASSO, Okla. - A silver alert issued for a missing Kansas woman thought to be heading to Green Country has been canceled.
Authorities say 77-year-old Alberta Weddle, who disappeared from a hospital in Pittsburg, Kan. around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, has been found safe.
Weddle was found around noon Thursday in Greenwood County, Kan. near Eureka.
Weddle, who reportedly has dementia and diabetes, was taken to a Kansas hospital but appears to be OK.
