For a good, old-fashioned Christmas experience, shop for a live tree from one of the area farms. You can choose and cut your own tree at most farms or opt for a pre-cut tree in several varieties. Some farms offer hayrides while others offer light displays and most have gift shops.
Owasso Christmas Tree and Berry Farm

Directions from Tulsa: Hwy 169N to 106th Street North, turn Left (West) to first stop sign (129th & 106th), Turn Right (North), First house on right.
Complementary hot apple cider, candy canes and hayrides through the farm provided. They shake, net, drill for stand and load all trees.
Open: Through December 22nd, Monday-Friday: 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Christmas tree varieties: Cut your own Virginia Pine (saws provided) or purchase a balled and burlapped Oregon Pine tree. Pre-cut Fraser, Noble, Nordman, Douglas and Grand Fir trees also available.

Balled and burlapped Christmas trees of various varieties (to plant later), Christmas wreaths, garlands, Christmas decorations, gift shop, concessions stand, photos with Santa.
The dazzling walk-through Christmas light display includes Santa's Workshop, Frosty's Frozen Forest and Nativity Scene. See the Peanuts crew, Santa and his Elves, the Toys from Misfit Island and the Grinch. Admission $12.00 per person (a portion of which will go to local charities including Adult Day Care of Rogers County and Green Country Hospice), children 4 years and younger are free. A silent auction of decorated trees will benefit local charities.

Pleasant Valley Christmas Trees

From Sand Springs: Go west on 41st Street past Discoveryland to South 209 West Avenue. Turn left, go 3.2 miles to 71st Street and turn right. Go 6/10 of a mile. The farm is on the left side of the road.
The gift shop sells a variety of wreaths, garland and grave blankets and offers complimentary cider, cocoa, coffee and candy canes. Santa visits the farm from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. each day. They shake, wrap, load and tie trees.
Open: Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 a.m. to dark

Red Barn Christmas Tree Farm McAlester
From McAlester: 6 miles south on Hwy. 69 to Savanna, turn east (left) at Savanna Schools onto Brewer Road, go 2.5 miles on blacktop road to Red Barn.
Gift shop features wreaths, greenery center pieces Lifetime tree stands, "Old World" and "Christopher Radko" ornaments and designer ribbons.
Open: Tuesday – Friday: 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Sunday: 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The Wilkinson Christmas Forest

From Tahlequah - Take Highway 82 North, approximately 8 miles. Look for the sign on the left next to entry at the top of the hill. From Locust Grove - Take Highway 82 South, approximately 16 miles from the Cherokee Turnpike. Look for the sign on the right next to entry at the top of the hill.
Gift shop offers decorated and non-decorated wreaths and swags of pine and fir, tree stands, decorations and complementary hot apple cider. They shake and bale all trees.
Open through December 18th: Thursday – Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – dark and Sunday: 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
