TULSA - A Tulsa man was arrested on first-degree rape, kidnapping and sodomy complaints Sunday morning after a woman was held against her will and raped for hours.
Eric Joseph Beard, 34, was arrested at his residence near 11th and South 129th East Ave. just after 11 a.m., according to jail records.
Tulsa police were called to a distressed female that had told EMSA medics that she had been tied up and raped for a four to five hours by Beard, according to jail records.
The victim was able to escape out of a bedroom window while her hands were still bound together, police said.
The victim told police that Beard had picked her up in his vehicle in the area of 11th and Utica Ave.
Beard is facing first-degree rape, kidnapping and sodomy charges. He is being held on a $250,932.87 bond.
