I have started week number three of the eight-week Choose 2 Lose program and I am down 10 pounds.
I am thrilled with my progress so far but still have about 30 more to lose.
To be honest, what has thrilled me more is the affect my program has had on my family. In the last two weeks, my wife and daughter have started exercising as well and have seen some results!
Almost every day, my daughter spends 30 to 60 minutes exercising. Sometimes she will ride the stationary bike but most of the time it is dancing to an Xbox game. She even asked us to sign her up to play soccer this spring!
That is the great thing about exercise, there are so many ways to get up and get moving for 30 minutes a day!
Whether it is running on a treadmill, cycling, a walk around the block, soccer or dancing to a game, any movement where you raise your heart rate will start burning fat.
If you have started to get healthier in 2013, I hope you made it through the toughest part of the process, the first two weeks!
