Chef Slim with Go West Restaurant visited for Fun Food Friday to prepare a Buffalo Ribeye with a Chili Relleno.
To prepare the relleno batter, you'll need the following ingredients:
4 cups all purpose flour
2 tablespoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ancho chili powder
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 cups Shiner Bock beer
Soda water to desired consistency
Combine all ingredients, minus the soda water, and mix with a whisk.
Add in soda water slowly until batter reaches pancake-batter consistency.
