JAY, Okla. - Jay's Middle School principal has been found not guilty of manslaughter and reckless operation of a vessel.
Prosecutors claimed Roger Shane Carroll drove a boat into a breakwater structure on Grand Lake in July, ultimately killing 39-year-old Monte Price, also on board. A toxicology report would later reveal all four on board were drinking.

Carroll's attorneys said he wasn't operating the boat at the time of the crash.
Carroll took the stand in his own defense and testified that Price drove the boat. Both sides called in experts to testify to reconstruct the scene for jurors, which offered conflicting analysis.
Carroll is on unpaid leave.
