LOS ANGELES - Even though former Tulsan Jamar Rogers is not a finalist on The Voice, those who know him believe his Hollywood dreams are far from over.
Jamar graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, after going to Broken Arrow High for his first two years of high school.
His music teacher at Booker T., believes big things are still in Jamar's future.
"Somebody is going to snatch him up. And a lot of contestants go on whether they're chosen or not," said Janice Bayouth, Jamar's music teacher at Booker T. Washington. "They still get contracts. So I do believe Jamar will make it from here on out. The door is open."
Rogers was on CeeLo Green's team on The Voice and the two have talked about working together in the future.
Jamar's friends in Broken Arrow said they always knew Jamar would go on to do big things.
"We actually did an interview in the 9th grade and in it he was going to be working for Aaron Spelling Productions and writing and acting so this is a dream he's had for a long time," said Diana Phillips, Jamar's childhood friend.
Jamar is scheduled to perform on The Voice live results show Tuesday night on Channel 2.
