will.i.am to premiere new song on Mars

BLACK EYED PEAS star WILL.I.AM is set to premiere his new track on Mars.

The I Gotta Feeling hitmaker has teamed up with bosses at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to debut Reach for the Stars through the speakers of the Curiosity rover, which landed on the planet earlier this month (Aug12) on a fact-finding mission.

NASA officials will host a special listening event for students at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California on Tuesday (28Aug12), as well as announce a new educational initiative in partnership with the rapper's charity, i.am.angel Foundation.
