RITA ORA launched an online search to find local talent to open her show in Australia on Friday (01Mar13) just hours before she was due on stage.

The singer is currently Down Under on her Radioactive tour and she thrilled fans in Sydney on Friday by appealing for aspiring music stars to join her on stage during her gig at Sydney's Enmore Theater.

Ora asked hopefuls to send her footage of themselves performing so she could choose a winner.

In a series of posts on Twitter.com, she wrote, "We have an opportunity for Sydney to show me what u (sic) got!... You want to be the one to open for me tonight? Send your link to anything you've got... I'm dead serious!!... You've got a 20 minute slot!! Let's have a party! Sydney talent! DJs,singers, dancers,rappers!.. Yes we're actually... doing it!... I'm getting hold of the winner soon uve (you have) got sound check!"

Ora chose several lucky winners and they met the singer backstage before enjoying a support slot at the show.
