A scissor-wielding intruder police arrested on the grounds of MILEY CYRUS' home has been ordered to stay away from the teenager for the next three years.

Jason Luis Rivera was found hiding in bushes at the singer/actress' compound after sparking a security scare in September (12).

He was convicted of trespassing and sentenced to serve 18 months behind bars, but due to jail overcrowding issues in Los Angeles, Rivera is scheduled to be released in May (13).

Cyrus requested a fixed restraining order to protect her upon the 40 year old's release and it was granted on Friday (16Nov12), reports TMZ.com.
