Food fight farewell for Gossip Girl

CHACE CRAWFORD, BLAKE LIVELY and LEIGHTON MEESTER had a fun-filled final day on the set of GOSSIP GIRL, ending their time together with a messy food fight.

The cast finished shooting their sixth and final season on Saturday (20Oct12) and they gathered together to celebrate the hit TV drama's huge success at a wrap party.

But chaos ensued at the end of the evening as the stars indulged in a food fight with their special send-off chocolate cake.

Photos of the carnage emerged on Twitter.com, including a snap of Crawford with icing smeared on his face and shirt, and another of him licking his fingers while cutting another slice of the cake.

A shot of co-stars Michelle Trachtenberg and Penn Badgely with cream on their cheeks and in their hair also appeared online.

The last episode of the teen show is due to air in December (12).
