Elton John scraps Alabama show for medical reasons

SIR ELTON JOHN has scrapped a show in Alabama on Friday night (15Mar13), citing medical reasons.
The rocker was set to perform at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex Arena, but the show has been cancelled.
Full details of who is ill were not available as WENN went to press, but it's clearly a sudden medical issue - the venue's Facebook page featured a photo of the singer's piano onstage an hour before the gig was scrapped.
It is not known if Saturday's (16Mar13) concert in Memphis, Tennessee will go ahead as scheduled.
