Carly Rae Jepsen's brother uses sister's fame to impress bar girls

Singer CARLY RAE JEPSEN's brother uses his famous sibling to pick up girls in bars.

The Call Me Maybe hitmaker reveals her brother Colin often calls her late at night from clubs and begs her to chat to girls.

The star says, "He'll be like, 'Carly, tell them you're my sister.' And them I'm in the hands of a group of girls and they'll be like, 'Are you...? Is he...?' I'm like, 'No. I have no idea what you're talking about actually. I don't know who this man is.'"

And she also receives odd calls from her mother, who insists on playing romantic ballads over the phone and then hanging up.

Jepsen tells U.S. chat show host Chelsea Handler, "I always know it's her, but she'll play a little Van Morrison... and it will be really awkward timing too; I'll be, like, in the middle of having to go into a show and I'll be listening to Into The Mystic and you can't really hang up... She just plays music and hangs up."
