Bieber bodyguard in airport bust-up

JUSTIN BIEBER was at the center of a "crowd control incident" at Los Angeles' LAX airport on Monday (06Feb12) when a scuffle broke out between a photographer and one of his bodyguards.

The teenage pop star was leaving a terminal when his security guard allegedly became involved in an altercation with a snapper, who is said to have stood in front of the singer's car while trying to take pictures.

Cops were called to the scene and the photographer was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

A statement from police, obtained by E! Online, reads, "Los Angeles Airport Police observed what appeared to be a crowd control incident at Terminal 4 on the upper departures level involving Justin Bieber.

"An investigation revealed an altercation occurred between an unnamed bodyguard and a photographer at the location."
