Actor BEN FOSTER is reportedly in talks to portray disgraced cyclist LANCE ARMSTRONG in a new biopic.
The Queen's Stephen Frears has signed on to direct the Working Title film, which will chronicle Armstrong's battle with testicular cancer in the mid-1990s and his dabbles with performance-enhancing drugs, which he finally confessed to during a candid Oprah Winfrey interview earlier this year (13).
Foster is the front-runner to play the cyclist in the project.
It's not the only film about Armstrong currently in the works - documentary-maker Alex Gibney's The Armstrong Lie will feature footage from the sportsman's failed 2009 comeback to his admission of doping.
