Adriana Lima's beloved dog goes missing

Supermodel ADRIANA LIMA has appealed to members of the public for help in locating her beloved dog after it went missing in Miami, Florida this week (begs27Aug12).
The Brazilian beauty took to her Twitter.com blog on Thursday (30Aug12) to ask fans to spread the word about her seven-year-old Maltese, Ivy, admitting she had been left heartbroken by the animal's disappearance.
She also posted a photo of the white-haired pooch and provided a hotline for people to call with tips about the pet's location.
In a series of tweets, Lima wrote, "My dog, Ivy, disappeared in Miami two days ago. Ivy means so much to me and my family. Please... call 305-471-TIPS if you have any information on where my family's dog may be! Please help me find my beloved Ivy.... I am in tears..."
