2NEWS Anchor Justin Wilfon going to L.A. for The Voice finale

When I auditioned for The Voice in Los Angeles back in August, I never dreamed I would be back in L.A. for the finale. 

Not to sing, but to cover it. 

I'm flying to Los Angeles with 2NEWS Photojournalist Dennis Meister Monday, May 7 to report on The Voice finale.

You'll see me reporting live from L.A. next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday on 2NEWS Today from 5 to 7 a.m.

You'll also see me reporting live from the NBC studio lot in our evening newscasts Monday and Tuesday.

Of course, we will find out this week if former Tulsan Jamar Rogers makes it to the finale. 

You can watch him perform Monday night at 7 on Channel 2.

Whether he makes it or not, we will be in Los Angeles next week to talk with Jamar, other contestants and possibly even 'Voice' coach and Oklahoman Blake Shelton.
