According to Stringer, police called to the residence on the 200 block of E. 10 th Street shortly after noon found a “very distinctive” bruise across the 3-year-old's upper thighs and groin.
“She had hit her 3-year-old son with a belt across the top of his thighs so hard that it left a bruise across them and across his groin,” Stringer told 2NEWS. He added Butler was also arrested for child neglect as they found her children, including the alleged victim, eating dried Ramen Noodles off the floor.
“There was also dog feces on the floor. The house was filthy,” he said.
During a hearing Tuesday afternoon in Washington County District Court, the judge set her bond to $250,000 with a condition of no contact with the alleged victims in the case.
