Man crossing Bartlesville road hospitalized after struck by pick-up

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. - A Bartlesville man was hospitalized Wednesday after being hit by a pickup truck west of the downtown.
According to Bartlesville Police Capt. Jay Hastings, the accident occurred shortly after 5:30 p.m. On Hensley Boulevard just east of the Kaw Avenue intersection.
The 17-year-old was struck by a westbound Chevrolet pickup as he ran south across Hensley Boulevard.
He was transported by helicopter to a Tulsa hospital in serious condition.
