BARTLESVILLE, Okla. - The filing period for the Bartlesville City Council elections slated for Nov. 6 ended Wednesday revealing two races for council seats.

The filing period was from 8 a.m. Monday to 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The first race for the Bartlesville City Council is between incumbent Tom Gorman, Randy Rickman and Lee L. Lane III who filed for the Ward 3 seat. Gorman, Rickman and Lane all filed on Wednesday.

The second race is former councilor Eddie Mason running against Allen Bretz, both of whom filed Monday for the Ward 4 seat.

Others filing for council seats are incumbent council member Ted D. Lockin for the Ward 1 seat, incumbent Mike McGrew for the Ward 2 seat and incumbent Dale Copeland for the Ward 5 seat, all of whom filed on Monday.

Not filing for candidacy Dr. Erin Tullos who now fills the Ward 4 seat.
