BARTLESVILLE, Okla. -

Police arrested a Bartlesville man Wednesday after he allegedly pointed a BB gun at woman and threatened to kill her.

Arrested on a charge of felony threats to kill, 38-year-old Daniel Shane Bullick now faces a charge of felonious possession of a firearm.

According to the police report, the incident occurred at around 9:20 p.m. Wednesday when, according to the woman, Bullick became angry upon discovering on her phone she and another man had been texting.

It was then that he allegedly took a gun out of the closet, pointed it at her and said he was going to shoot her.

Bullick reportedly admitted to police he had taken a BB gun out of the closet and had threatened to kill her.

The BB gun was found in the bedroom closet in a case with a .22 caliber rifle which was magazine loaded with seven rounds but no round in the chamber.

Police said Bullick said he did not place the gun back in the case after threatening the woman.

During Bullick's appearance in Washington County District Court on Thursday, the judge set his bond at $25,000 and ordered he have no contact with the alleged victim.

Bullick is due back in court on Aug. 10.
