BARTLESVILLE, Okla. - A Bartlesville man police suspect was involved in a drive-by shooting Saturday night is behind bars, according to police.

On Sunday, they arrested Daniel Lowe on a charge of possession of a firearm after a felony conviction after officers found a small handgun after they served a search warrant on his home.

The weapon's caliber matched that of the bullets and casings found on the 1000 block of S.W. Keeler the where the call reporting the shooting first was made, according to Bartlesville Police Capt. Jay Hastings.

He told 2NEWS that when police arrived to the scene shortly after the call at 8 p.m. Saturday reporting the shooting, they found six or seven bullets had been fired and had struck two cars parked alongside the road.

Witnesses told police they saw Lowe's truck in the area at the time of the shooting and said he “had been giving them trouble” in recent days, said Hastings.

Police are still investigating the incident, he told 2NEWS.

Officials expect he will be arraigned when Washington County District Court reopens Tuesday.
