BARTLESVILLE, Okla. - Bartlesville police officers have made an arrest in connection to a homicide early Sunday morning.
Police officials say they arrested 33-year-old Stacy Ann Thompson for first-degree murder after she stabbed her husband, 33-year-old Bobby Richard Thompson.
Officers responded to a call from a person who had possibly been stabbed near 11th Street and Maple Avenue around 1:45 a.m. Sunday.
First responders found Richard Thompson in the front yard of a residence and pronounced him dead from stab wounds at the scene.
Witnesses told police the couple had been fighting before the stabbing.
