TULSA, Okla. (AP) - 2 of the top scorers for the Detroit Shock may not be making the move to Oklahoma next season.
Coach and general manager Nolan Richardson says leading scorer Deanna Nolan has indicated she intends to skip the upcoming season instead of relocating with the team to Tulsa. Her agent says she's not under contract and "considering all alternatives."
Katie Smith, a 6-time All-Star, has already said she doesn't plan to play in Tulsa and is listed as a free agent by the league.
Team officials say they are holding out hope that Nolan will join the Shock for the upcoming season.
