Bradford undecided

Last Update: 10/21 6:04 pm
Sam Bradford was expected to make a decision late this afternoon on whether or not to continue his college football career, have surgery to repair his shoulder, or make an attempt to recuperate without surgery. We got none of the above.
Bradford scheduled a press conference for late this afternoon, only to cancel the appointment 1 1/2 hours before the planned announcement. Bob Stoops said Bradford canceled the announcement to gather more information about his future. It has been speculated since late Saturday night Bradford would have surgery to repair his ailing throwing wing. Bradford reinjured his throwing shoulder last saturday against Texas at the Cotton Bowl, the same shoulder he injured during the first game of the season against BYU.
Bradford could have been a first round draft choice last April following his Heisman Trophy season as a sophomore, but decided to return for his junior year with the Sooners on the advice of NFL scouts who claimed he needed to strengthen his body physically.
No timetable was announced on when Bradford will reveal his decision.
OU travels to Kansas to play the Jayhawks this Saturday with Landry Jones as the starting quarterback. OU is a 7 point favorite.
