Jake's Beer Can Chicken

Jake's Beer Can Chicken

1 c. butter
3 Tbsp. + 1/2 tsp. YARBQ Chicken Rub
1 2-4 lb. whole fryer chicken
1 can of beer

Melt butter and mix with 3 Tbsp. of rub.
Inject chicken with mixture.

Place 1/2 can of beer in a chicken rack (available at grocery and discount stores)
Add 1/2 tsp. YARBQ rub to beer can (may foam up)
Place chicken over beer can on rack and sprinkle extra rub over chicken.

Preheat grill or oven to 350 degrees.
Bake or grill 1 1/2-2 hours until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.

Remove from heat and let rest 15 minutes.  Slice or pull apart
