Heilman House Blackberry Wine Cake

Heilman House Bed & Breakfast 

Ingredients:
 
1 White Cake Mix
1 3-oz Box Blackberry or Raspberry Jell-O
4 Eggs
1/2 Cup Cooking Oil
1 Cup Blackberry Wine

In a large mixing bowl combine cake mix and Jell-O. Add eggs, oil and wine, beating on low speed until moistened. Then beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour batter into bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 45-50 minutes

(Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts in bottom of pan)

Glaze:
 
1 Cup Powdered Sugar
1/2 Cup Blackberry Wine
1/2 Cup Butter (1 Stick)

Combine ingredients on stovetop (medium heat) and bring to a boil. Pour half over cake as soon as you take the cake out of the oven and while still hot in pan. Cool for 30 minutes. Turn cake out on plate. Reheat mixture and pour over bottom of cake.
