Caz's Chowhouse Traditional Cuban Sandwich

1/3 loaf French bread
Butter
Ham, approx 2 oz. (sandwich or thin sliced)
Pork Loin, pre-cooked, approx 4 oz (sandwich or thin sliced)
Yellow Mustard
8-10 sliced Hamburger Pickles
1 Slice Swiss Cheese, Cut in half

Cut French bread lengthwise down middle without cutting all the way through.
Heat sauté pan or cast iron skillet to medium.
Brush inside of French bread with butter.
Toast bread face down in pan/skillet, until lightly browned.
Add mustard and pickles on top side, meats and cheese on bottom side.
Close sandwich and butter the outsides.
Over medium heat, press sandwich in pan/skillet with additional skillet, spatula or foil wrapped brick on top.
Turn sandwich when bread is crispy and repeat process.
Remove from pan/skillet, cut diagonally and serve
Serves 1-2
