School board seats up for filing in Washington County districts

Candidates for boards of education in five Washington County school districts will file Declarations of Candidacy from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Dec. 7-9 said Yvonne House, the secretary of the Washington County Election Board.

The Board of Education positions at stake will be filled at the election scheduled for Feb. 9, 2010. Offices for which Declarations of Candidacy will be filed include:

Tri-County Technology Center
Office No. 2, five year term

Bartlesville Public Schools
Offices No. 2 and 4, four year term

Dewey Public Schools
Office No. 4, unexpired term, and 5, five year term

Caney Valley Public Schools
Office No. 5. five year term

Copan Public Schools
Office No. 5, five year term
