Storm Chasing in Kansas
Ride along with
Meteorologist George Flickinger
as he tracks a storm from birth to tornado. George's chase crew drove over 900 miles on May 22, 2007 following a tornadic storm into northwestern Kansas. The tornado he videotapes near WaKeeney, KS moved across open land for about five minutes. No damage was reported.
George Flickinger and his crew had an unplanned "slithering" experience. Watch the unedited video as George's weather briefing gets interrupted, and John surprises the group with what he does next! Shyla Flickinger (George's wife, you'll hear her voice) is not pleased!
Yes, John brought "it" home in a locked backpack.
