This week we are taking a look at three construction projects and all of them will not be much fun for drivers.
The first is a new project that started on Monday, October 26. You can expect various lane closures on 1st Street under the I-244/US-75 junction from seven in the morning until five in the evening.
Crews are painting a bridge there.
The right lane of the westbound I-244 exit to northbound 75 will also be closed.
This work will continue each weekday until November 9.
And another new project has started on East 111th between South Yale and South Sheridan.
Crews are tearing up the street and putting down a new layer of asphalt.
They'll be flagging traffic there for the next three months.
Also Elgin Avenue between John Hope Franklin Boulevard and East Archer Street remains closed. That's because of on-going construction at Oneok Field, the new home of the Tulsa Drillers.
The city says the street will likely stay shut down until the ballpark is near completion early next year.
