The 2News Problem Solvers are highlighting a group of student at University of Tulsa.
They put hearts and souls in a project all to help a little girl get around a little easier. The college kids are making a difference -- both in the community and in the lives of a local family.
A car accident two years ago left 7-year-old Dru Baker paralyzed from the chest down, but it hasn't crushed her spirit. She wants to play outside with family and friends.
Recently a group of engineering student at the University of Tulsa heard Dru's story.
They wanted to help, so they went to work building a special racing tricycle.
For months they worked on the project.
Channel 2 was there the first time Dru saw their creation.
     She couldn't have been happier.
Dru took it for a test drive.
The students will make some adjustments, and soon Dru will be outdoors and on the go in her neighborhood.
